UHI Gaelic professional development fund

Commencing September 2022, on a first come, first served basis within budget parameters of the annual Gaelic professional development fund, the university will fund:

• 100% of fees for any course for Gaelic learners at further and higher education level, including non-accredited informal learning, provided by UHI academic partners, currently including UHI Outer Hebrides, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, and UHI West Highland.
• 50% of course fees (only) for any course for Gaelic learners provided outwith the UHI academic partnership, such as Gaelic classes run by a Local Authority or Ceòlas.

Adding dates

Simply add the date and year either side of the appropriate month (see below), for example
23 Samhain 2021.

Typing the grave accent

Using Windows:

Lower case (à è ì ò ù):

1. Click, and hold down together, the CTRL key and the accent key (top left next to the number 1)
2. Release these and immediately click the appropriate vowel key.

Upper case (À È Ì Ò Ù):

1. Click, and hold down together, the CTRL key and the accent key (top left next to the number 1)
2. Release these then immediately click and hold down the Shift key while you click the appropriate vowel key.
